What Would You Do Differently?

My name is Deborrah Cooper. I am the resident advice columnist of AskHeartBeat.Com Black Love & Interracial Relationships advice at www.askheartbeat.com, an author, radio host and "Generation Y" researcher.

I'm asking for your help in getting the word out about my latest research project - issues surrounding teen pregnancy and parenting in the U.S. I'm particularly interested in hearing from young men and women that became parents in their teens, those contemplating getting pregnant, as well as those PARENTS OF TEENS who became pregnant and chose to carry on with the pregnancy.

Example questions include:

  • What would you want a young person (under the age of 25) facing the reality of becoming a single parent to know about pregnancy or raising a child?
  • If you are now or were a young single or teen parent and had to do it all over again, would you make the same choice? Why or why not?

There are a total of 10 questions on the survey, which can be quickly and easily completed online.
